🦊Foxgloves and Hollyhocks

Hello, dear readers,

Well it seems that fate has intervened and given me the impetus and time to begin a new gardening blog, which I’m filming short 1 minute clips of, while confined to my house and garden. Please watch the video, it’s only a minute and I talk my way through it, giving you gardening tips, which I’ve picked up over 43 years of gardening.

It’s the perfect time of year to move plants, and weed out the unwanted dandelions and blackberry plants that have seeded themselves, giving the small plants room to grow and more light.

Time to move your foxgloves and hollyhocks?

And here is another film about the process.

Hollyhock seedlings.

I harvested the seeds and grew small plants of an inch in height at the end of last summer. Take look at the video to see how well they’ve grown in under a year.

If you take a look at the link above you can see the mother plant and the summer flowers.
