There is a great deal of myth and superstition surrounding this plant. Not surprisingly honesty is also known as the money plant. It is thought of as both lucky and unlucky, depending on where you are located in the world.

The plant has the most beautiful seed pods. They are flat and translucent, and turn from a pinkish tinge to a silver. When they are silver they gently soften and the seeds drop out, or you can plant them then.
