Sweet Peas

I’m planting sweet peas today, in pots.

Plant sweet peas in pots, and replant when established to a few inches in height.
I planted these sweet peas just over year ago. They are grown from seed, and they’re already returning ready for the summer in amongst the lavender.
Seed pods collected at the end of August 2020

You can also plant your seeds in a moist bed in sunshine. Make sure you clear weeds. Plant several as they won’t all take.

Mark out with canes to avoid overlapping and disturbing what you planted last autumn.
I planted some out in the beds in a sunny, sheltered spot next to the marigolds. I’ll move them where I want them when they’re a few inches in height.
